EA-LEC - Intro Pg1

[EDIT] Seeing as the deadline for the first EA-LEC mission is so close, I've decided to post the introduction in text form so that I can finish both it and the mission in the short time I have.

If not, I'll have to write the rest. :/ I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to, but at the speed I'm working, it's not going to be finished for a LONG time.
